Citizens disrupt violence campaigners

Californian citizens yesterday disrupted police officers who were legitimately firing rubber bullets beside the public highway.

The police had congregated to campaign in support of local arms transporation companies. But members of the public deliberately inserted their heads and bodies into the trajectories of the police bullets, to the horror of the officers and wounding their pride.

An aggrieved member of the police department said, "We have a tradition of violence round here. From the unprompted beating of Rodney King in 1991, through the shooting and framing of Javier Ovando, unarmed, in 1996, right up to the present day. It's our uniformed privilege." Fortuntely for the police many of the group did not stay for long and moved on to create chaos for staff at the local hospital.
