Private schools boycott poor students
The Association of Rich Schools and Educators yesterday announced a boycott of poor students who could not afford their services. "For too long we have had to pay lip service to students without any cash," said a spokesbutler, "but now it's time to send them a message."
The association said it was unhappy with the students' quota system, in which they allocate money to things like food and clothes and not to lining the pockets of private schools.
"We fully support widening access to these students," it added, "and if anyone wants to do this, we'll stand on the sidelines and cheer them on."
