Downing Street has defended as "accurate" its dossier on Iraq's weapons, even though it has been found to contain verbatim extracts of a 12 year old fairy tale written by Timmy Whitlow, a Year 4 pupil from Sunderland.

A spin doctor for the government said the report was fair and honest, including the detailed description of the giant's castle and his bottomless pit of green slimy snakes. "I don't see what your problem is," he said, "This document is as true and balanced as anything else we've ever produced."
