Benn interviews Saddam
Jerky cartoon character Mr Benn has interviewed Saddam Hussein. Mr Benn was particularly interested in where Saddam got all the outfits he wears in the many photographs and murals of him around Iraq. "I like the murals very much," said the 2D animation, "Some of those artists are almost as good as the people who draw me." The president told Mr Benn he bought his clothes from a man wearing a fez.
However, the children's TV favourite was criticised for being too unquestioning of his interviewee. "He demonstrated terrible fuzzy thinking," said one sauce, a bottle of ketchup, "It could only have been worse if he was quizzed by some anachronistic Labour MP trying to excuse his own anti-American prejudice."
